Grateful to have captured KAABOO Festival for a third year in a row (thank you Virgin Produced).
The year was 2012 and Antwan had not changed his last name to Wolf yet, he went by Batmane. Drastic (myself & Michael Paredes) captured snippets of his life as he transformed his identity, evolved his music and created a new lane. From fixed gear bike rides in Los Angeles to motorcycles doing circles in the wall of death in Nashville, Chrysalis is a short documentary chronicling a slice of Badd Wolf's evolution. Check out the zine and documentary via Drastic's blog -> http://www.itisdrastic.com/news/badd-wolf-chrysalis-documentary/
Dec. 9th hosted another remarkable showcase, featuring Karlos Marquez. Karlos is a Los Angeles artist that specializes in fusing graffiti, contemporary & neon lights. I spent some time with him in the studio capturing some motion for the video below.
Some stills from the event, City Lights.
I've been invited to participate in the upcoming showcase Magnify hosted by RAW Artists at Boulevard 3. I look forward to featuring new work and limited prints, Drastic merch will also be available for purchase. Anyone that buys a ticket will receive a free 5 x 7 print upon arrival of show, cop it from my artist profile on the link below. Pull up for some good times with other local artists.
